Description

Early Stereo Week here at 33anda3rd!. Lots of  60's stereo in this list accompanying this lp, plus unusual repertoire and limited pressings. Apologies to thise watching this in Ebay US, I was unable to feature it and it seemed wrth doing so after a serious playgrading session.

1959 First year pressing of Uk Decca  SXL 2178 Backhaus in the Beethoven 1st & 2nd  Piano Concerti with the VPO & Schmidt Isserstedt. Curved cut flipback sleeve, made by British Celanese.  Labels have Original recording by.. at ten O clock, are deep grooved with an ffss circle at 12 O clock. There is one shallow non feelable non sounding mark last band side1, played through near mint on my moving coil.

Original ffss inner present and very clean like the sleeve and lp. Very low desirable 1E1E stampers.

This record is visually top Mint minus with a 4mm fine straight mark which tics very background to some rotations to start side 2, in a Mint minus sleeve, record is not warped, labels are clean.

Good selection of rarities in my list this week..
