Description

Here is a lp from my collection offered up for sale:  Hard to find Elvis album released while he was in the Military "For LP Fans Only", this is an original RCA 1st pressing, LPM 1990 (mono), on heavy vinyl with "Long Play" labels, still has 1959 printed inner sleeve. This is an album of songs that were previously released only as 45 rpm singles: "That's All Right", "Shake Rattle & Roll", "My Baby Left Me", "Mystery Train" , "I'm Left, You're Right, She's Gone" and more. This is great music ~ Elvis at his best with Scotty Moore on Guitar & Bill Black on stand up bass.

The vinyl rates VG, is clean and glossy, has numerous light marks and few more moderate ones, has been play tested. Plays very good from start to finish, clear sound with some background pops, no skips or jumps, an enjoyable listen! Deadwax reads J2 PP8070-1S and J2 PP8071-1S

The vintage cover rates VG, has beautiful portraits of Elvis with great color and gloss ~ there is faint pen writing on front "died Aug 16th 1977" at top right (see photo), front has a couple scratches/linear indents and a small rub spot in corner, had seam splits that have been neatly re-glued (old tape remnants too), binder edge not readable, back portrait excellent, has been a well cared for 60 year old cover. Will be shipped in a plastic sleeve in a record mailing box with tracking. Vinyl will be shipped in sleeve outside cover to prevent cover splits.
