Description

One of a nice collection of Classical rarities we have just had in, a single cherished and many unplayed lps.

1st year issue 1960 1st UK Philips SABL 183 Walter Brahms 3rd Symphony. Curved Hifi Stereo textured plum labels and logos to the flipback sleeve. Great thing about the Philips issue compared to the Columbia CS is the lack of compression. More of what was on the master tape made it on to this lp, all through valve tube cutting equipment, with all the warmth in the string tone that implies.

Record is in Near Mint condition. Sleeve is Near Mint also. This is barely played and plays near mint.

Heard throughout, this played near mint with the minumum amount of pops without even being cleaned.
