Description
This is our first sale from a top of the market collection, comprising of just early stereo rarities on Decca HMV, UK Columbia & RCA. First labels issues in Near Mint condition to 99% of them, all described in detail with plenty of pictures. Includes many items rarely seen on ebay.
1960 First year pressing of Uk Decca Press RCA SB 2065 Monteux & the VPO in the Beethoven Symphony 6. This curved cut flipback sleeve has a lovely rear whiteness. This is authenticated to the 1st year of issue by the printer dating the sleeve for January 1960. The stampers in the dead wax are lowest 1D1D, and the labels are red and silver with the deep grooves and Pressed by the Decca Record Company to seven O clock. best golden age SXL Decca big warm stereo sound to these.
The pristine original company pink stereophonic inner is present. This is mint minus with one small shallow mark to the start of side 2 which was very background, has clean labels and the sleeve is Near Mint. Flips are unmarked, no pen or dirt, no splits or bends.
This record is not warped, labels are clean.Good selection of rarities in my list this week..
