DESCRIPTION:
1960 First STEREO pressing of UK Decca ED1 WB Grooved original recording by labels UK Decca SXL 2180/2181 Puccini: Tosca from Molinari Pradelli with soloists Tebaldi, Del Monaco & George London. Earliest type Green Vinyl Folder issue, which is clean and intact but as usual the clear window front is by now shinking slightly, and this one has a little closed tear near the top, no other faults. Nice low full matching set of 2E2E2E2E stampers, denoting mastering by the excellent Stan Goodall,.

CONDITION:
Items described with an aural grade have been carefully played on a Garrard 301 turntable with an SME 312s tonearm and Koetsu Rosewood cartridge. All records are viewed under magnified light and cleaned on a wet vac cleaning machine
We treat grading very seriously and use the UK Record Collector grading scale with the addition of a (+) or (– ) to denote a slight increase or decrease in condition.
Records:
The surfaces feature a full lustre, under angled magnified light. The First Press UK DECCA labels are in very nice order showing very minimal Signs of use. No writing, rips, stickers or other blemishes. Under angled light very light sleve chaffing can be noted consistant with the records being slid into and out of their sleeves this record grades as EX (Excellent)
Plastic Wallet with insert:
No foxing, the insert is crisp and in lovely condition. Excellent Plus (EX+)

Grading Guide:
"MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklets etc are in perfect condition.Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
NEAR MINT: Very close to Mint with only the slightest signs of play and the very lightest paper chaffing only to the surfaces of the record. The cover shows only the very slightest wear
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Packaging:
Records within the inner sleeve will be removed from the cover and sandwiched between professional card stiffeners then inserted into a protective plastic sleeve. This package is then placed within a professional cruciform record mailer (N.B: We do not use cheap mailers)

Any record sold with a value in excess of £10 will be shipped with a minimum of a signature requirement upon delivery. Please note that Box sets due to weight may cost more than £4 to ship (In this instance the true cost of shipping will be added to your eBay purchase invoice).
