The item available here is a very rare ALTERNATIVE 1988 VERSION 7" VINYL SINGLE of the 1960 Eurovision song from NORA BROCKSTEDT and the entry from Norway "VOI VOI" (sung in Norwegian).  This version is possibly much harder to find now than the original 1960 issue (also very difficult to find) which had more success at the time than the 1988 version!  I haven't seen or heard of this 1988 version being available anywhere on the internet since the original release back in 1988 (and even an mp3 seems impossible to find). You can hear a sample above with the 1988 version which has been recorded directly from the exact 7" copy I have on auction!  The B-side features another song by Nora Brockstedt, "OSLO OSLO".  This rare 7" was issued by the Norwegian GARLIC record label (GR 1).  The vinyl is clean and shiny EXCELLENT condition. The picture sleeve is also in EXCELLENT condition with only minor creasing in one or two places.  Each side of the record labels and picture sleeve can be seen both above and below in the camera photos. I only have this one copy available so don't miss a rare chance to bid and add this difficult to find version of a popular Eurovision entry to your collection!

Back in the eighties and nineties I was quite well known among many Eurovision collectors around the world as I always stocked a large selection of Eurovision records and CD's and during the nineties even arranged and financed the official release to press some of the more rare entries for wider availability to collectors.  I provided a Discography and photos of all Eurovision releases in the UK for RECORD COLLECTOR magazine and provided recordings and worked to get clearance for tracks on an official UK Eurovision CD release issued by VIRGIN.  Due to moving house my Eurovision vinyl has been in safe storage for almost a decade.  I have recently acquired back the very last copies of my Eurovision vinyl stocks.  In many cases I am down to my very last copy of each entry, especially those in mint condition and I now plan to sell everything over the upcoming months, so keep checking back each week for new additions to my listings.
