Description
One of a nice collection of Classical rarities we have just had in, all nice clean originals.
Near Mint playing surfaces first year issue with 1M1M stampers 1959 SB 2089 of Munch & the BSO in the Saint Saens 3rd Symphony. A lively reading with the great bass sound of the organ having a richness to it relating to the all valve cutting process. A very attractive performance in a great mastering.
These are pressed by Decca in the golden age of SXL's, receiving all the same loving care to produce great valve era stereo sound from the mastertapes.
1st type flipback stereophonic rear lettered sleeve , and the original company pink stereophonic inner is present. This is free of surface marks, has clean labels and the sleeve is excellent, with some age related mottling to the black, which is exaggerated by my flash photo.
