Description
Collection of (88) 45rpm records stored in a metal double carrying case. The records are from the 1960's with lots of rock, including picture sleeves by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and The Beach Boys, among others. All of the records are in sleeves, original owner wrote the index number on each sleeve, including the picture sleeves. The index is filled in up to #69, there are approx. 20 additional records that are mostly 'give-away' records like from the 1964 World's Fair. The additional 20 records are not written on. Additionally to the number written on the sleeve, original owner also stuck a piece of masking tape on each label and wrote the number on the piece of tape (this is only to one side of each record). The condition of the vinyl is excellent on all, I do not think these were played very often. Being stored in the original sleeves helped as well. The case is very clean, there are no rust spots as you often find with metal cases (this was not stored in a damp place such as a basement, so it was stored well and there are no odors). The handle is broken as shown in the photos above. Please note that there are many more 45's inside the case than are displayed. Please let me know if you have any questions.
