Description

Today, we are offering this 1960s "VOICES OF VISTA" RADIO SHOW 33 1/3 LP, starring Woody Allen on one side, b/w Mabel Mercer and Alec Wilder, for the Office of Economic Opportunity. Record retains heavy factory gloss with excellent labels, overall grades NM-. Comes in an excellent condition plain white generic cardboard cover.


"Voices of VISTA" (Volunteers in Service to America) Radio Variety Shows:

This record consists of recordings of episodes of a government-sponsored radio variety show entitled "Voices of VISTA." The shows were first aired as 25-minute shows, once-a-week, with Willis Conover as host; later they were aired as five-minute shows with Herb Oscar Anderson as host. (Dave Garroway substituted at times for Willis Conover.) The talent roster included Duke Ellington, Lionel Hampton, Richard Rogers, Woody Herman, Trini Lopez, and other musical talents of the day.
