Description

Here is a vintage surf record from my collection offered up for sale:  Dick Dale's 1961 debut 1st album, "Surfer's Choice", this a vintage 1963 Deltone pressing in mono with the white labels that was distributed by Capitol Records and has the Capitol marked cover, T-1886 (mono), which are more rare and have a higher book value. This copy has "sample" written in pen on front making it possible for it to have been used for promotional purposes.
This heavy weight record rates VG/VG+, is clean and glossy, has some faint sleeve marks and a few light marks, has been PLAY TESTED! Plays from start to finish with excellent sound, minimal surface noise, no skips, no jumps, a VERY enjoyable listen! One label has black pen writing.
This cover rates VG+/EX, color is deep with no ring wear, edges have minimal wear and are solid except top has had small spot/bump, no splits, no tape, binder edge is EX and readable, front has pen writing "sample" at top, back has faint spot stain near bottom, minimal wear, has been well cared for! (see all pictures).
