Description
Great records from my own collection each week at the moment. ED1 Near Mint 1961 Deep grooved black and sliver labels first outside the US issue of Howard McGhee Maggie's Back In Town LP on Contemporary Stereo. A Decca pressing mastered to lacquers by Harry Fisher, in the most desirable 1W1W stampers, in a fully laminated earliest type flipback sleeve. A great session, and a scarce example of a barely played wonderful 62 year old pressing. I bought this as new old stock in the past 20 years and have played it about 5 times tops, all on high end equipment. Contemporary SCA 5080 mono deep groove original 50s UK Decca pressing with Shelly Manne, Phineas Newborn & Leroy Vinnegar in the band. LP is in Near mint condition which is the difficult thing to find with an enjoyable lp like this, most got played to death. Maggie in really wonderful form on this Great sounding early release. Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type. We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e £1 extra per lp to a maximum of £15, then no extra charge. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
