Description
Up for auction is a Rare extremely hard to find very early James Brown Lp titled Try Me.This is the original cover with the Woman with a Cigarette on front cover King label # 635.The King on records label is 3 inches wide.Guaranteed to be a 1961 pressing.Nice looking cover although both the top and bottom seam are completely split.The spine is very nice and not split at all.I see no evidence of either the top or bottom seam ever being taped.Corners have some rounding wear Please see picture.Front cover has some ring wear but not too bad and still looks very nice as you can see.Very small very light brown stain near her right knee.Pretty minor as it blends in somewhat with the greenish blue color.Tiny slight crease near lower left corner Please see picture to see how small this is.Back cover has a price sticker which is probably original to this Lp.The price sticker says $3.98.Has some lighter type brown age spots on back cover but not alot as you can see.Crownless 3 inch wide King label which is black and silver in color Please see picture.Side 1 of record is very nice looking with some very light to light scratches with 5 tiny scratches I can feel with fingernail.Has some scuffing also.3 out of the 8 songs have a little bit more wear than the other 5 songs but side still has pretty nice groove shine.Side 2 of record has some very light to light scratches with 7 small scratches I can feel lightly with fingernail and 3 small scratches that can also be felt with fingernail.Has some light scuffing with a small scuff I can feel very lightly with fingernail.Some light sleeve rubbing on record.I have taken several pictures of the cover and record so you can get a great view of it.I,ll be listing 3 or 4 more rare James Brown early King label Lps here soon.Please check if you like.I also combine multiple Lp auctions to save on shipping.Also if the buyer is not 100% satisfied I have a return for refund policy on all records I sell.
