Description

This was in our last list, and ebay had to cancel the item after the auction closed because one of the bidders had their ebay id hijacked. We could do nothing about this, so here it is again. Apologies to genuine bidders, that was beyond our control.

1961 Uk Decca SXL 2298 1st  anywhere issue WideBand ffss ED1 labels of the Dvorak New World from Kertesz & the VPO. Top loading gatefold sleeve of the rarest type, one of the rarer SXl's. Nice low 1E2E stampers to this.

1st type wide band ffss circle labels have Original Recording By.. at ten O clock. Strong mint minus playing surfaces to this (2 non feelable marks s1t2) and lovely condition labels, no wear to the centre hole. Original ffss inner present and intact. Sleeve rear is clean, but there are a few little closed tears to this and age yellowing to edges, should be visible in pics. White area is just my flash, cover pic is bright and clean.  Several ED1's this week.

This is one of some very exciting classical rarities in my list this week, strong on  Decca SXL's & HMV stereo, TAS Listed Audiophile and a great Chamber Music selection. They are all well worth a look and a bid, same low start no reserve on everything regardless of value.
