1961 deep grooved 1st year Uk Contemporary of Shelly Manne - Live! Shelly Manne & His Men At The Manne Hole 2 LPs, first UK decca press in gorgeous valve tube press sound to the pristine mint vinyl here. Just look at that band: Tenor Saxophone – Richie Kamuca, Trumpet – Conte Candoli, Piano – Russ Freeman. Candoli plays a few tracks muted and really close to the Mic Miles style, but then when he takes the mute off, he shows his hard bop high speed chops as well. This was a very fine band. Quality all the way. Contemporary Records - 1961 - S7593/4 In an excellent sleeve. Played near mint on both my mono and stereo best carts, in audiophile sound.
LP's in Near mint condition which is the difficult thing to find with an enjoyable album like this, most got played to death.
