Description

*** Fine Country Blues 45 ***
Great "one man" guitar blues by the obscure Guitar Nubbit Real Name: Alvin Hankerson Born 1923 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Nicknamed ‘Nubbit’ following the loss of the tip of his right thumb at the age of three in a hurricane. He grew up in Georgia and relocating to Boston, Massachusetts, in 1945. Recorded for the small Bluestown label out of Boston Mass, Nubbit's hometown at the time of recording.
For folks who dig John Lee Hooker or Lightnin' Hopkins.
