Description

Scarce original green colored vinyl LP by Kay Martin and Her Body Guards titled "I Know What He Wants For Christmas...But I Don't Know How To Wrap It!" from 1968.  It is on the Fax Records label (Catalog #FAX LP-1005).
Visually, the record is excellent (VG++), as is the jacket.  The vinyl is shiny and the labels are clean, with just a few spindle marks on the labels & minor sleeve marks on the wax.  Unlike modern pressings, though, early colored vinyl frequently had lesser sound quality than black vinyl, and this record plays with light background noise throughout (slightly more noticeable on Side 2).  Audibly I would rate it VG(+)--quite listenable, with no loud pops or repeating scratches (except for one that pops twice).  The jacket has light storage wear/ringwear, plus some small spotting along the bottom edge.  I also noted the wrap along the bottom of the spine is slightly off.  There are a few small areas of something on the cover next to the model's left hand that could probably be wiped off with a damp cloth.  (Please see photos for greater detail.)
The racy, suggestive music encompasses several styles and is generally on the jazzy side.  It was recorded live, on stage, before an audience.  A very nice collector's piece!
