Here's the start of a high quality early stereo list from us this week, some very exciting chamber music, rare repertoire and great unusual Piano items. Most of it runs from Sunday to Sunday.
1963 Uk HMV ASD 549 Christian Ferras, Violin & Paul Tortelier, Cello in the Brahms Double concerto under Kletzki, with the Philharmonia. White Gold labels 1st anywhere issue, in beautiful condition, as is the sleeve, still having the original advertising inner. The early stereos on my list this week are of an exceptional standard of preservation, from someone who seemed to collect more than listen. You can see this is likely from the rear whiteness and the label closeup. Labels have no spindles and playing surfaces have no marks of any nature. A fantastic big warm sounding early stereo reading.
This record is visually Near Mint in a Near Mint sleeve and plays Near Mint also.
