Description
Not one for the purists or museums, here we have a 1st issue of THE BEATLES initial LP titled, “PLEASE PLEASE ME” released on PARLOPHONE RECORDS (Black/Gold labels) No. PMC 1202 ‘Mono’.
Credits on Tracks 1. 2. 6. & 7 side 1 & Tracks 4.6. On side 2 have Dick James mus. Co after McCartney Lennon.
This is a well used and played record, with lots of marks, some of which do give crackles/clicks but it does play all way through without sticking or jumping.
Record labels as you would expect have got some wear to the labels around the spindle hole and a couple of very light scratches.
Flip back cover is fully intact, with no rips tears or writing, but does have handling marks/wear to back opening edge. Flip backs which have become unstuck have had clear tape added. Spine is clear and readable.
I know it’s not mint, but it’s rarity might appeal to a collector until something better comes along.
