Description

Here is a SUPER RARE vintage MOTOWN album from my collection offered up for sale: An outstanding original 1963 album by the still very young Motown Tamla company in the Motor City. This is the labels 2nd ever compilation lp. It features great early hits by the Motown Tamla artists. Smokey Robinson & The Miracles "Shop Around",  & "You really got a hold on me", Marvin Gaye "Stubborn kind of fellow" & "Pride and joy", Barrett Strong "Money",The Marvelettes "Please Mr Postman" & "Beechwood 4-5789",the Contours "Do you love me", Mary wells "You beat me to the punch" & "The one who really loves you",PLUS Little Stevie wonder, Kim Weston, and Eddie Holland, and the Supremes! Released 1963 on Motown MT-614 (original glorious MONO), still has vintage blue printed Motown Tamla inner sleeve! The record grades VG+, is glossy and clean, some light marks on both sides. One heavier mark on side one but does not effect play. Plays great from start to finish with very good sound quality, an enjoyable listen! The cover rates EX, is super clean, great color with minimal wear, edges and corners EX, binder edge EX and readable, no splits, no writing or signatures, has been very well cared for, outstanding 53 year old!! Will be shipped properly in a protective plastic outer sleeve inside a secure record mailing box with tracking number. Vinyl will be shipped in inner sleeve outside cover to prevent cover splits.
