Here is another beauty of that type. 1963 Pristine 1st Uk Mono Prestige RLP 446 (pressed by Fontana/Interdisc) Milt Jackson Sextet: ?Invitation featuring Kenny Dorham and Tommy Flanagan plus Jimmy Heath tenor, Connie Kay Drums, and Ron Carter Bass. Typical hard bop tunes in this attractive mix of instruments, everyone at the top of their game as affirmed by the reviews. You are unlikely to see a better condition 56 year old original of this as I got it from the same source as my sleeveless unplayed Esquires, i.e. the stock room at home of a retired record seller. I have played it once on a high end system with a modern mono ortofon cart. It plays perfect. When people are paying three figures for the 2009 MFSL of this, surely less than half that is a fair price for a copy that has avoided use for well over half a century. I suspect it sounds better as well.
We pack carefully. This has been cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid, has a new antistatic inner added and all resides, separated to prevent splits, in a heavy gauge new poly outer awaiting our careful packing in custom made hard card boxes.
