Description

This is from a top of the market collection, comprising of just early stereo rarities on Decca HMV, UK Columbia & RCA. First labels issues in Near Mint condition to 99% of them, all described in detail with plenty of pictures. Includes many items rarely seen on ebay.

  1963 First year pressing of Uk Columbia 1st pale Blue & Silver labels of the 2 movements from Jikl's edition of Mahler's unfinished 10th Symphony & Richard Strauss: Death and transfiguration conducted by George Szell and the Cleveland Orch. on Columbia  Blue /Silver first label SAX 2488 . 1st type Big stereo corner flipback sleeve and the original company inner is present. This is Near Mint with no marks to the playing surfaces, clean labels (shown in pics) and the sleeve is also Near Mint.   (this is sometimes mistakenly referred to as issued in 1959, but it will be 1963 because of the SAX sequence of known date issues)

This record is visually Near Mint, in a Near Mint sleeve, record is not warped, labels are clean.
