Description
At auction is a 1964 original pressing 45 rpm vinyl single featuring the songs "Love Me Do" and "P.S. I Love You" by THE BEATLES. Released on the Tollie record label April 27, 1964, this first pressing comes in the original picture sleeve. This is the Monarch pressing and the label includes the following variants from the standard release:
Black typesetting on yellow labels.
No square around Tollie.
Catalog number appears on right of center hole.
Publisher credited as "Beechwood Music" on labels (no "corp.").
The record is in excellent condition, and the sleeve is graded as very good plus. This piece of music history is a must-have for collectors and fans of the British Invasion era of rock music.
