Description
Set yourself all a-spinin' when you win the bid on this vintage LP from the days when the "record" was king. This particular platter is a recording of the night before the 1964 US Grand Prix Race and is a pre-run copy. Apparently it includes the driver's meetings, interviews with pit crews and other interesting racing related themes. The record is clean and bright with only typical light minor play wear. It has no warping and the label remains clean and bright. Also included is a clean paper sleeve. This is free of any wrinkle, rips or tears, but has mellowed lightly in color. The outer cardboard folder still retains nice looking colors and graphics on the front with a light thumbprint sized spot of speckling in the lower left corner and some additional speckling along the very top edge. The back has some light tan looking speckle lightly scattered overall. Last, according to the info on the album cover, this is item number HPS 8001 and was made by Hurst. Overall a nice record for a low start and no reserve. We have a small record box full of vintage LP and 45 records that we are currently running on Ebay, so please check out our other auctions.
