Description
This extremely rare and sought after compilation was recorded at the Federal Record Studio, Kingston Jamaica and released in 1964 on the Coxsone record label.This album has established itself as one of the most collectable records in this genre.Performing on this album is a host of legendary artist from The Maytals, Don Drummond, Roland Alphonso and Tommy McCook to name a few ( see pics for track listing ) all musicians associated and educated at Alpha Boys School.This album is in very good to excellent condition there are one or two small light scratches but dispays no major deterioration in sound quality ( Record collectors grading system 2006 ) This album is listed on page 1436 of the Record Collectors Rare Price Guide 2006.Matrix No R & B JBL 111.Since advertising this album I have been made aware that this particular record is a Jamaican repress and not the Uk pressing, therefore affecting its value.I have reset the opening bid required.
