Description
This is an original 1964 Mono Beatles For Sale record by The Beatles. The vinyl is black in colour and plays at 33 RPM. The record label is Parlophone, and the release title is Beatles For Sale. The case type is a cardboard sleeve, and the format is a 12" record.
The record grading is Good Plus (G+), and the sleeve grading is a Very Good Plus (VG).
The album itself has hairline scratches. Overall, playback is very good. There is a minor background crackling here and there that doesn't distract from its listening quality. Of course, it's obvious it's an older Mono vinyl compared to later stereo releases. Apart from that, there are no other noticeable playback issues. There's no jumping, skipping, or sticking.
The album Sleeve is graded from a Good Plus to Very Good. The sleeve itself is still holding together. There are no splits in the outer seems. The affected parts are the outer rim. There's edge bumping and scuffing, and the outer album laminate is fraying around the edges. These problems are common, especially in older vinyl albums. Regardless of that, it still looks good after all these years.
The vinyl matrix number is XEX 503-4N/ XEX 504-4N, and the catalogue number is Parlophone 1240. The record is a first edition and was released in the 1964 of which this one is referred to as a variant 3 Runout.
