Description

You are bidding on an Original
1964 Stan Getz / João Gilberto 33RPM 12" LP Record VG+ Verve V6-8545
Bossa Nova, Jazz
Featured on the NBC coverage of the Rio Olympics.
It won the 1965 Grammy Awards for Best Album of the Year, Best Jazz Instrumental Album - Individual or Group and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical. "The Girl from Ipanema" also won the award for Record of the Year in 1965. This was the first time a jazz album received Album of the Year.

VINYL IS VG+. Original gatefold cover is in VG condition with no ring wear.  Verve Records label. No cutout. No barcode. Has slight edge wear.  Generic Verve inner sleeve.  A very nice version of this record.

Record is graded visually as
Very Good +
using the Goldmine standard:

A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it.

Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are "OK".

The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. The center hole will not have been misshapen by repeated play.

Picture sleeves and LP inner sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP cover may have slight signs of wear.

I have stacks of wax. These are records that have been played... unless they are sealed...you get the picture. I do my best to describe their condition them but I don't have sophisticated equipment to play them on.  I have 400 - 500 more to sell. They go though about every genre and modern music era. (1950's-2000's) Every now and then I find a collection to sell. If I list them as "Buy it Now" please make me a reasonable offer.
 "My name is Jimmy, I'll take what you gimme!"

Happy bidding!
