Up for bids is a Northern Soul 45 recorded in 1964 by TOMMY GOOD titled:
"BABY I MISS YOU" / "LEAVING HERE"
(A MOTOWN Records release #7034 ).
Tommy Good was an American pop, rock and soul singer born in Detroit. Tommy’s one and only Motown single
was "Baby I Miss You" and "Leaving Here" released in 1964 on Gordy Records, a subsidiary of Motown.
"Baby I Miss You," climbed into the Top 40 and went even higher in the United Kingdom.
His signing was Motown's first serious attempt to introduce a white R&B act since Debbie Dean
three years previously. It was the only track Motown released with Tommy, but has always remained
popular on the Northern Soul scene.
