Description
Here is a RARE album from my collection offered up for sale: "Sam Cooke Ain't That Good News" , released in 1964 by RCA Records LSP 2899 Stereo, this is a German pressing on heavy vinyl, has vintage price sticker. This is the last album released in Sam's lifetime, features title song "Ain't That Good News", plus the soulful "Meet Me At Mary's Place", "A Change Is Gonna Come", "Another Saturday Night" and more.
The vinyl rates VG, plays great, is clean and glossy, has several light marks, has a couple small more moderate marks, has been PLAY TESTED! Plays very good from start to finish, bright clear sound with a some light background pops and only a few moderate pops, no skips or jumps, and a very enjoyable listen.
The flexible style cover rates VG, is clean and bright with only light age discoloration, edges have some light wear/bends, binder edge is not readable, had partial splits neatly taped, opening edge has small split and price sticker has rub/torn edge, has very light ring wear, has marker signature/writing on both sides. Will be shipped in a .3 ml plastic sleeve in a record mailing box with tracking. Vinyl will be shipped in sleeve outside cover to prevent splits.
