The Beatles: Rubber Soul 1965 First Pressing Stereo LP Label Variant Scranton, PA, Capitol Records, ST-2442
There are five variations noted of this specific pressing on discogs, however this one is undocumented. The matrixes noted below are a mixture of two of those variants.
Front Cover Variation: The ''NEW IMPROVED'' caption is in brown inside the picture, the ''File Under'' caption is in the top border.
Label Variation: The artist's name consists of both the individual names and the group's name. The ''Stereo'' caption reaches over the tracklisting.
Matrix: Runout / Machine Stamped / Side 1 ST1-2442-B8 #3 △ I AM Side 2 ST2-2442-B4 #2 △ I AM
Vinyl: VG+ to EX (visibly) both sides have a few superficial marks present from storage. Nothing deep, or damaging.
It's a beautiful copy, plays clean, sounds amazing. Faint surface noise is present through the passages. It appears meticulously cared for, or unplayed.
Jacket: VG+ light ringwear front, and back cover, minor scuffing throughout. No tears/splits, etc.
Original Inner Sleeve: Generic white sleeve with no center hole, half-inch split, bottom-center, creasing. It's still in great shape.
History: One previous original owner, restored by Katahdin Wax.
Restoration: A manual five-step process, performed slowly, using premium record cleaners, and rejuvenators, with no harsh chemicals. Jackets are detailed if necessary.
Grading: Goldmine Standard, ten-plus years, taught and trained by three reputable record dealers in the vintage market. Every used record sold is assessed under proper lighting, then played in full on a calibrated tonearm.
Mint (sealed), and Near Mint (unsealed to check) are not used for previously owned records (here). If it looks better than stated, enjoy. Standard grading as follows EX VG+ VG VG- G+ G G- Poor Fair
All records are set in new poly-hybrid inner sleeves, and outer poly. Everything is separated properly.
Shipping/Handling: Ships safely in a Whiplash Mailer with stiffeners and bubblewrap. Mailers are weatherproofed and strapped.
USPS Media Mail $6 Priority Mail $12 available at checkout. Flat rate includes handling fee.
Only new, high-quality materials, designed to ship records safely are used.
