Original 1965 US promo press. Both sides are great Soul/Popcorn!
YT user Anthony Reichardt writes: "Out of Los Angeles and released in May of 1965, this soulful tune sounds like Motown meets Phil Spector. Recorded at Hollywood's legendary Gold Star Studio with it's unique echo chamber wide open, lead vocals are that of L.A. based in-house Motown songwriter, FRANK WILSON. Produced by Spector associate and former Teddy Bears group member MARSHALL LEIB, the backing track is an echo saturated, finger-snapping 'Wall Of Sound' arrangement by an uncredited JACK NITZSCHE and JERRY LONG. Curiously, this obscure and collectible disc was pressed with some labels credited as Chester St. Anthony and others as Chester Fields".
