Test Pressing of the album Big Ben by Jorge Ben, PHS600-170A. Feb 11, 1965. Album cover is plain white cardboard and the label is plain white and says Test Pressing and the number is hand written. I acquired 9 of these and some have a sheet of paper in them that was to be returned for approval, from Richmond Record Pressings, Inc. of Richmond Indiana. This is the second paragraph, "This test pressing to be judged mainly for recording content only and not for manufacturing quality. Manufacturing defects may be present since this is a "hand made" record and not necessarily representative of the manufacturing quality which can be expected from production pressings." The others are listed as well.
