Description
Here is a RARE album from my collection offered up for sale: 1965 album "Merle Haggard Strangers", this is a 1st pressing disc ST 2373 Stereo, has heavy vinyl black with color band labels, printed inner sleeve, has been well cared for! This is Merle Haggard's debut album, launching his long outlaw country music career!
The record grades VG+, is super clean and glossy, has a few light marks and one small more moderate mark, has been PLAY TESTED. Plays very good from start to finish, bright clear sound some very light background crackles and a couple light pops, no skips or jumps! The paper inner sleeve has center splits neatly taped.
The cover rates EX, has great front portrait of Merle with no ring wear, edges and corners excellent, binder edge EX and readable, no splits, no tape, back has light age discoloration with just a few tiny spot stains near bottom (unnoticeable), no signatures or writing, looks minimally handled, has been well cared for! (see all photos)
Will be shipped in a .3 ml plastic sleeve in a record mailing box with tracking. Vinyl will be shipped in paper sleeve to prevent cover splits.
