Old vintage VINYL double Lp (2LP) set featuring a king-pin sized rave-up by sometimes unknown, lesser known 'down under' RAVE-UP garage beat cats on par with any of the '66 styled UK happening 'in' sounds of the time!
The La De Das were New Zealand's most popular rock group of the '60s. As big fish in a very small pond, their work and style holds up to scrutiny in the company of the era's top American and English acts. They did record some fine garage/pop raves in the spirit of the Rolling Stones & cool garage band styles in the mid-'60s. Lots of tight self penned electrified tracks with just the stripped down combo centering on cool voice, farfisa organ and reverb/fuzz guitar (bass & drums too!) Here their 1966 and 1967 legendary Lp's ... hooked together as a double album with both front and back covers (hooked together) ... issued using master tapes by the parent company. This set is old and rare, having been released in New Zealand some 28 years ago and way way not around...hard to find, go look and see just that
