Description

In my continuing quest to bring you records, I'm happy to offer the record listed above.
5 DAY ONLY SALE.
Condition: There's a mixed bag on this one. Granted, not the prettiest copy by a long shot, but there are things  that do stand in its favor. Allow me to explain:
1. Definitely a STEREO 2nd/second state pasteover. Ringo's "V" is visible. I wrote a special patch in Lightroom to make the "V" pop, and will include 1 of these for ease of "V" identification; the album cover is NOT that  dingy-looking.
Also measures in at the value of 12 1/4" side to side as opposed to a regular Yesterday and Today,  which measures 12 3/8". The removal of the extra 1/8 inch was to accommodate the new slick.
If you squint, you can see Ringo's hairline and skin color, and of course, the edge of his white coat lapel.  As most/some/all prospective buyers are aware, the stereo Butchers are far more rare than the monos; I've  heard the term "5 times more rare"; ymmv.
2. RIAA #2 (Scranton). Stereo covers only came from Scranton and LA, or so I've heard. #2's are less common  compared to #5 (Los Angeles). or so I've also heard.
3. No woc, no previous peel attempt. Stereophonic warning on back cover. Original orange sleeve (2 splits, wos). Jacket mouth is not split at the corners. Great candidate for possible peel, but that is strictly your call.
4. The not-so-good? First, take a look at all the pics (and I'd be happy to send more, but there is a limit of  12 pictures per listing. For additional pics, we'd have to work something out). Definite front cover outer  ringwear, some of which affects the stereo banner at the top and some of the trunk and Paul's legs  at the bottom. Visible front cover inner ringwear, which affects Paul's head and Ringo's right arm.
1 bump on front cover near trunk. 2 creases on front cover in lower left quadrant; close to the spine. 2 small  stains on front cover in the stereo banner. Dinged bottom left corner; medium in intensity/impact.  Image chipping (known issue on this cover) is mildly prevalent in random places.
The slick is much more white than the cardboard of the jacket. Definitely a contrast pop.
Bottom spine not split; yet. There is some separation between the slick and the jacket, but the cardboard seems ok for now. Left/back spine missing "ST 2533" as well as various swaths of slick. "Tod" is missing from  the spine title, along with missing ~1/2" or so coming up to the top spine.
NOTE: discoloration of left (main) spine slick has cast an orangeish hue.
Various and sundry piecemeal separation of slick on top spine. Ditto pieces of clear Scotch tape placed where  needed at the time, I'm assuming.
Back cover: another orangeish/super light brownish "border" is prevalent on all 4 fascia; roughly 1/4" to 1".
This border is actually darker than the cardboard on the front.
I'm a wee bit critical of my product which is why I rate things a bit harshly (trying to always err on the safe side).  I would generously give the cover a G. Great starter copy and/or placeholder until you find your Livingston (look  it up). :)
Vinyl clocks in at just under VG+. Original rainbow label of course. With this record, however...not many people  care about the vinyl.
This is your chance to own a piece of history. I'm going to put up a price on this with offers enabled. Make an  offer! Take a chance, live a little! :)
If I don't accept it, the worst that I can do is say "No, thank you". And yes, again, it's not the prettiest, but that does not mean that it should be low-balled, either.
Due to length of description and much proof via attached photos, there will be NO refunds for this. Please remember, I'm happy to answer any/all questions, send add'l pics, you name it. I'm not 'gilding the lily' on  this copy; I have zero interest in lying about it. It is what it is, and I believe in honest listings.
