Description

The Beatles Yesterday & Today, 2nd State Mono Butcher Cover "pasteover".  This record album cover screams more than just the rarity of what happened in 1966 when CAPITOL RECORDS recalled them to slap a second album cover over the Beatles, meat and toy baby parts.  It screams tears of LOVE from VICKI who originally owned this record and had a crush on Paul McCartney but was afraid to write the word L - O - V - E on the cover (didn't want mom to know). There are plenty of pictures for you to decide if THIS is the one you want in your collection. Yes - there are some various seam splits but when I had it displayed it was in a specific record frame (as shown in one picture) and nobody would even know  - and NOBODY (including YOU) would even care!! It's all about the story - and the way this made it into the record stores for a very, very short period of time until these 2nd state copies came out  to restore some "order" - lol. So take a look at all the pictures and we will find out who will be the new owner. MAYBE a 70 year old VICKI is still out there (and VICKI - Paul McCartney is waiting - shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh).
