Description
One of a handful of early Music & Violin rarities we have just had in, see our me page for more.
1966 1st anywhere German Black Gold Telefunken SAWT 9490 Double Concertos by the Sons of Bach (CPE, WF & JC). The Leonhardt Consort featuring Anner Bylsma Cello, plus Jean Antonietti, Anneke Uittenbosch, Frans Bruggen. CPE & WF both opt for two keyboards here, the first using a Hammerflugel, a Fortepiano to us, with the Harpsichord, the other two harpsichords. The JC Bach work has the Cello and Oboe as its lead solo parts. Very tempted to keep this, goes in once and then if not bid on goes on my shelves - I have too many records but the playgrade was very seductive here.
The record and labels are near mint, and the sleeve is excellent with a little repair where some surface was lifted by a sticker and succesfully put back.
We pack in hard card custom made new boxes.
