Here is the original 1966 PYE RECORDS RELEASE SHEET posted to Record Shop managers announcing the new releases for 19th August 1966. From the seven records listed the one of most interest is of course the highly collectable 45 by

This must be a welcome addition to any serious Davis Bowie collector's collection, especially one lucky enough to already own the ultra rare 45 !

This record shop publicity item would have been sent by the publicity department at PYE RECORDS to record stores throughout the UK in the hope of creating record orders. The reality was that most store managers regarded the constant flow of publicity from the various record companies as junk mail and would simply throw most of it away. A few years ago we were fortunate enough to purchase a quantity of promotional publicity, much of which was unused, from an old fashioned record shop which had already been closed for many years and this item is from that collection.
CONDITION: Superb, pretty much like new with the deep red print as bright and vibrant as when printed 46 years ago.
POST AND PACKING: Item will be packed safely between two pieces of cardboard prior to posting.
UK: £2 which includes 79p for Recorded Delivery first class postage and will require a signature upon delivery.
EUROPE: £6.45 which includes £4.95 for International Signed For postage and will require a signature upon delivery.
