1966 ED1 Stereo Delyse gatefold Mahler Des Knaben Wunderhorn song cycle sung by Janet Baker & Geraint Evans with renowned Mahlerian Wyn Morris & the LPO. This was a tiny record label back in the 60s and has those beautiful green white and gold labels, and the foldout sleeve, so it may have been a labour of love by the owner, spending too much on production to make a profit. As a result, this was bought by HMV & reissued on their own label, but this is the small print run original of a great possibly definitive account in its era, in lovely stereo valve sound. Laminate is starting to lift and I removed some tape from the spine which left no sticky remainder, so sleeve is a bit scruffy (no splits dirt or pen though), but the record is a very clean excellent.
We pack carefully. This has been cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid, has a new antistatic inner added and all resides, separated to prevent splits, in a heavy gauge new poly outer awaiting our careful packing in custom made hard card boxes.
