1966 Lee Konitz & Miles Davis Ezz-Thetic on 1st UK issue Transatlantic of the US Prestige LP. Looks to have been pressed in the Polydor London plant, going on the position of the deep groove. Plenty of Miles on side 1 of it, but I loved Konitz's playing here even more, I have to say. Side 2 is a Teddy Charles Vibes led session. Apart from his lovely Atlantic lp, he seemed to have very few sessions as a leader, undeservedly so, as he was a great player and writer/arranger. Excellent record with no scratches and Excellent undamaged sleeve. Clean labels and not off centre. Slight edge warp not affecting play only fault, price reflects this - US ones are big money and this was the main issue in shops for any jazz lovers in Europe 56 years ago. Plays near mint on my Ortofon mono cartridge, also fine on my Stereo contact line. Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type. We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e £1 extra per lp to a maximum of £15, then no extra charge. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
