Description
PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SHIPPING: USA ~ 1 LP $4.00 Media; 2-4 discs $5.00; .50 each additional disc Priority rates vary by area; please inquire. SUPERRARE!
SUPERRARE 1966 MICRO-PRESSING USA GARAGEROCK COLLECTIBLE
MAGIC
\ USA - PRIVATE PRESS (MAGIC MOUNTAIN RECORDS) 147606
NEARLY IMPOSSIBLY RARE 1966 Original by an unheard of garage band going by the name "MAGIC" .... Housed in a very thick and beautifully designed custom cover, the micro-private pressing from 1966 is with Pop/Psych/Beat/Garage mixtures by a quartet whose members were actually from Switzerland and working in the USA as ski instructors by day and with their band "Magic" by night playing local Notheastern clubs ... Overall they have a 1st Lp era Procol Harum sound (& voice) led by thick Hammond organ, English vocals behind a formidable tightly played line up... Not with the amateur teen band sounds of say, what you may find on the Justice label, but rather a professional well structured band containing memorable tunes across both sides...The album is highlighted by the cool psych/FUZZ guitar led "Ride My Seesaw"
Not listed (as of yet) in the either of the two Acid Archives "rarities" books...the album is off the charts rare, buried and almost unheard of ...found only one other copy across the universe selling for around $400 in lesser condition....
Band members: Charles Kocher (organ, piano, vibes, vocals); Rudolph Degaspari (guitar, vocals); Berni Klaui (bass, clarinet, lead vocals); Werner Uberbacher (drums, congo, lead vocals). All songs are performed in English.

CONDITION: The Cover: Beautifully designed custom cover in a thick private pressing cover, the kind you don't see anymore... it's very clean for a micro quantity issue from 45 years ago rated at M- no split seams, no bends, no writing and very nice bright original colors...
The Vinyl: Looks very clean over both sides having no more than a random soft scuff line -- visually around VG++ / near "EX" (excellent) but is the typical a lo-fi private pressing so even cleanest copies will play with some low grade surface, same as Lp's on the Justice, Fredlo, etc labels...
A cool addition to anyone's music library!
