Description/notes: These early Beach Boys LPs are very special. I've been collecting for 50 years and not many things make my eyes pop. When I first saw these back in the 1980's, my eyes popped. Condition, especially the covers which could all be framed, and pressing rarity are off the charts. Time to let them go - at way less than you'll pay elsewhere, of course.
This one: First stereo press from 1966 from the Scranton pressing plant as noted by the "3" on reverse cover and blue label edge lettering.
- IAM triangle logo stamp in runout
- "3" printed near RIAA logo on back cover
- Tracklist printed underneath the center hole
- A-side track titles indented; B-side track titles left justified
- "Duophonic" printed on front cover and labels
Condition: LP is VG+ or better with choice luster and minimal superficial marks. Shipped in a new Taguchi anti-static sleeve. Cover is VG+ with a minor pressing bubble on left near center and a couple teenie corner bumps. Sleeve in great shape. This one belongs in a museum and it's the real deal.
