The Beatles – You Like Me Too Much / Tell Me What You See / Dizzy Miss Lizzy / Yes It Is (1965, Brazilian 7") This 1965 Brazilian 7” EP, released by Odeon Records, is a rare regional issue featuring four tracks from Help! and non-album B-sides. While not a typical Beatles single, this release compiled lesser-known songs, showcasing both George Harrison’s early songwriting efforts and the band's rock & roll roots.
Track Breakdown: You Like Me Too Much – A George Harrison composition, featuring a piano-driven rhythm and lyrics about devotion and reconciliation. One of Harrison’s earliest contributions to a Beatles LP, it appeared on Help! but was never released as a single in major markets. Tell Me What You See – A Lennon-McCartney song with folk-pop influences, featuring electric piano and subtle harmonies. A deeper cut from Help! that hinted at their later, more introspective songwriting. Dizzy Miss Lizzy – A Larry Williams rock & roll cover, led by John Lennon’s raw vocal performance and driven by searing lead guitar. It was one of the last straightforward rockers the band recorded before their stylistic shift in Rubber Soul. Yes It Is – The B-side to Ticket to Ride, this moody, harmony-laden ballad featured intricate three-part harmonies and a sorrowful tone, often compared to This Boy.
