Description

1966. Big Rock Records BR-512. "The Worlocks-I Love You/ Stay By Her Side". Super rare garage band record. Port Byron, New York, rock band The Worlocks, was formed in 1964 and disbanded in 1969 when 2 of the members went into the armed services. Featured Denny Ball-Organ, lead vocals, Bill Smith-Lead guitar, Joe Smith-Rhythm guitar, bass guitar, Pat Thomas-Rhythm guitar. Jack Donovan-Drums. This 45 rpm record was recorded in Elgin, Pennsylvania, and is the bands only recording. Both songs are excellent mid '60s rockers with super tasty guitar licks. "I Love You" has a Seeds-"Pushin' To Hard" feel, to give you an idea of the bands sound. The record looks VG but plays clean with just a couple of light clicks on each side. You'll probably never see this one for sale again.
