Description
This auction is for a rare and collectable example of the 12" vinyl LP "King of the Delta Blues Singers by Robert Johnson.
This is a copy of the first UK pressing released in the UK in 1966 on the CBS label 62456 (CL1654).
Titles include iconic and influential blues such as -
Crossroads Blues
Rambling On My Mind
Traveling Riverside Blues
Walking Blues
The label is in VG condition with only very slight spindle wear.
The cover is in VG+ condition with a minimum of wear around the edges but no damage. The laminate is intact with very few slight wrinkles. There is a little soiling on the reverse but no wear.
The record itself is in Excellent condition with only very few and light surface marks. Playback quality is first class though it should be remembered the tracks were recorded on primitive equipment in 1936 and 1937!
Due to downsizing I am, sadly, having to find new homes for my personal and much loved record collection.
I try to be as fair as possible with despatch costs and charge only 35p for packaging materials. All items are sent in cardboard record mailing envelopes wrapped in bubble wrap pouches.
