Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +22,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. These BARRACUDA'S teens may have been a little sloppy, but they were ambitious, and they had skills to realize a lot of their goals.
Album high-point in an extended jam in a wild take on “I’m a Man” here may be the best rendition this side of the Yardbirds’ classic, and adds a few layers more of freaked-out guitar pyrotechnics that Jeff Beck and company weren’t ready to ignite – lead guitarist Mike Parker performs quite a long showcase with feedback fuzz frenzy while the band romps and stomps over the grinding tune, and Sam Shaw’s bass swells and surges beneath Parker’s work. Donnie Thurston sounds like he’s playing on cardboard boxes, but that’s par for the course on a primitive/crude recording like this, and not necessarily even a problem.
Clearly The Rolling Stones were their inspiration. One of the better tracks is "I’m A Lover Not A Fighter," a frat-rocker from the Kinks’ second album while “Shotgun” closes the album and is a pretty decent cover of a then current rockin' hit. The notes are minimal, but the music does truly speak for itself. Strangely enough, only their take on the Lennon-McCartney classic “I Call Your Name” doesn’t transcribe as well (though their version of “All My Loving” is pretty cool), "Gloria" is ripping, as is "Not Fade Away" but overall, the mix of folk-rock, gritty white psoul, and blues-rock works beautifully.
This must’ve been a great record to play at dance parties. It’s also easy to see why the Barracudas did well on the garage-rock circuit in Virginia and other East Coast locales – they must have been great live.
'digging the raw crudeness' and overall reflective sixties charm. They don't make records like this anymore.

- The cover: rated: VG++ to near M- the black front group cover shows minor lite wear, nowhere near some copies happened to pop-up over many years. The back group cover is surprisingly clean here, near M- There are no faded areas, no delete marks, no split seams, no bends, and no writing ...
- lThe vinyl: Rated: VG(+) nothing too alarming, still a solid enjoyable playing platter, happens to have little fine hair scuffs in brightest direct light. The audio performs far better than expected and both Justice labels are free from writing or misuse. The gold color tone always reflects human touch
