Description
Up for auction is a 1967 1st press mono PROMO pressing of The Beatles', "Sgt Peppers" album. The cover is stamped "FREE" on the top right corner. The cover has lots of rub wear on the front and back, 2" split inside the gatefold seam/center spine and a 2.5" split on the top seam, starting from the mouth of the jacket. The top seam also has some paper loss. The bottom seam has lots of wear, but NO splitting. The disc has scuffs/scratches throughout the disc. This album has been PLAY TESTED all the way through and plays with no skips or repeats, but does have some crackling in the low parts of the music. This includes the original psychedelic inner sleeve in nice crisp condition with only a 3" split on the bottom seam. The "cut-outs" insert has a hole punch on one corner. I will also include a new plain white inner sleeve for the record. Please email us with any questions you may have before bidding.
