THE ROLLING STONES
THEIR SATANIC MAJESTIES REQUEST
Released in the UK in 1967 Decca TXL 103 MONO
This is the early pressing of this album and consequently has the deep circular groove on the light blue label with the unboxed Decca logo.
The matrix numbers are ARL 8126 T2 3K on side 1 and ARL 8127 T2 3K on side 2
COVER CONDITION: Superb and would be MINT but for a slight bruise which has softened the top left gatefold corner. The other five corners are sharp and apart from the afore mentioned bruise the cover which has been kept in a PVC sleeve since bought, is as new with no marks creases. This gatefold cover has the original sheen and when opened the inside is also as new. The spine is perfect and so is the 3D effect picture, in fact only a sleeve in 100% new unused condition could be better than this one!
INNER BAG CONDITION: As new which is unusual as often a record can split this type of inner bag even with careful handling.
RECORD CONDITION: Superb! It appears to have been played no more than three or four times and just has the very minimum of ultra light surface marks probably caused by people like me taking it from it's sleeve to remark on what fantastic condition it's in.
LABEL CONDITION: Both sides superb with no spindle marks. The light blue label colour is bright and rich with silver text is as shiny as when printed 38 years ago.
