Rubin--You've Been Away / Baby, You're My Everything--Kapp 869, white label promo, styrene pressing.  Classic uptempo Northern Soul dancer from 1967.  Styrene pressing with some heavy scuffing, especially on roughly 1/3 of the A-side.  This record was definitely not stored in a paper sleeve and was handled poorly.  Remarkably, playback still sounds good.  Disc grades Good on the A-side and VG - on the flip.  Labels have light ringwear.  B-side label has a stamp, probably from a promoter.  Evidently, other promo copies were stamped, as the A-side has some excess ink by having another copy next to it that also had the same stamp.  A decent player copy for any Northern Soul fan until that cherry mint copy comes along!
