PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. MEGA RARE...with a highly sought-after sound, comes this highly unlikely album by THE OUT CASTS whom had their finger squarely on the button of the Swinging mod/garage/psych sounds of '67 ... We're convinced this band was at least partially from America, most of the tracks feature a punked-out snotty USA sounding teen vocalist

Here then is a Major world-class fuzz-garage-psych NUGGET! Extremely uncommon, has been on eBay like 2 or 3 times - ever! Anyone into the "happening now-sounds of the sixties" will appreciate this LP -- if not highly desire for personal collection purposes. There are no bad tracks, and up-there with ANY of the all-time greats ... the OUT CASTS were from Brazil, releasing this, their only LP, in 1967. Their sound is all about STYLE, reflecting the swinging UK '60s scene, and could easily pass as a British band of the era. Filled with tough edgey nuggets, think of an energized driven version of the Who, circa '67 meeting mid '60s Decembers Children era Rolling Stones ...
The Out Casts deliver spirited covers of tracks by The Who, The Stones, The Animals and even Hollands "Scorpions" - and as sharp, with impact performance, as those are it's the lesser known tracks that rise to the top. "Hang Nine," "Dyin', " "Go On Home, Baby," Weird Ties And Wide Belts," and "Business Man" are all killer-rated and worthy of the price alone. "Dyin' is a moody lament to a lost girlfriend sounding right in place with a nugget from prime-era Dutch "Outsiders." The Lp ends with a rousing stab of the psychedelia induced "Leopard Skin Pill Box Hat" (one of the best tracks on The legendary Bob Dylan "Blonde On Blonde")
Not much, if anything is known about the Out Casts, but from their sound they could have easily been a group of international / UK, USA teens with parents stationed in the military. The vocals are straight from the '60s USA garage ... One thing is for sure, they managed one hell of a cool album.

CONDITION: The cover: rated: VG+ very fragile, all considered the cover has held up well despite tape (removed) residue-discoloration around the edges. Other than that the front & back are in remarkable still condition with only minor imperfections; no split seams. Promotional stamp at top left corner along with promotional (radio station) file number sticker also at top left corner.
The vinyl: EXCELLENT AUDIO, rated: visually strong VG+ loads of original shine, there are minor little soft top surface scuffs. There is a circular needle mark at end of track 2 side one, no problem past a minor swish in very trail off dead space of track, the LP plays through real fine. The rest of side one and all of side two plays excellent - highly enjoyable! Both labels are clean with exception of promo sticker residue on side 2.
