We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. - The Walflower Complextion, remaining largely UNKNOWN, are highly worthy when talking garage-rock albums from the primitive/basement/garage glories of the sixties.

- These were U.S Army based kids living in Columbia South America formed an incredible teenage garage band and released two MEGA RARE LP's that collectors willfully fork out a whopping $2000+ each for original pressings. (If it is actually possible to find them in that condition). Raw primitive howling fuzz and reverb structured guitar drive the tracks which are formidable with the "right" sound that really makes it worth the grab when copies have exchanged hands for ridiculous sums. Only issued in small quantity in Colombia S.A. which is the reason of both albums being impossibly rare as first issues. The Wallflower Complexion as one might start to gatherer are talented to the point where their takes on groups like the Rolling Stones, who they favor, are equal or decidedly better than the Stones classic garage tunes. The band has an appealing aggressive edge to them so besides the Stones, they offer wicked takes of Van Morrison's THEM, and highly worth the enjoyment.
- On top of Stones and Them, the band wrote their own material and in line with the style of bands mentioned above, their own tracks a nothing short of great!
- Instead of spending up to $2000 on EACH LP and trying to locate... several years back this limited exact front and back cover art used and hooked together as a double LP including label work as well, will work audio wise pretty much on the same lavel as the oririginal pressings, and minus the surface noise which is ever present in the originals. A bonus might be the triple thick (thick!) cardboard used to construct the gatefold as well as the weighty 180 gram pressings. TOP QUALITY production here and gotten extremely hard to find as such.

The group's second album, When I'm Far from You, is not really any different from their first: not a surprise, actually, considering that it was recorded just a few months later. It's a similar mix of British Invasion styles kicked up the butt. The self composed title cut is a murky, rockish ballad of high note, somewhat similar to early Rolling Stones ballads like "Blue Turns to Grey" (which the Walflower Complextion covers on their other LP), or the hazy folk-rock ballads the Rising Storm did on their cult '60s garage album, though more sluggish. Even more interesting, and perhaps the best cut on the album, is the odd guitar jammer "From Head to Toe," which starts like a folk-rock tune in the mold of the backing track of the Rolling Stones' "I Am Waiting" with its wavering guitars, then speeds up to a jagged rave-up.
Bottom line, it's going to be a lot easier (and less expensive) to find this scarce/rarish double LP (both albums they recorded) than it is to locate the Colombian-only originals.
